Our story

It started with a kitchen table and a clear idea

Clara Brightwater and Tom Aldous founded the agency in 2009, around Clara's kitchen table, after years at big national chains. They wanted an agency where the person who values your home is the same person who sells it — and who still answers your call six months later.

Today we're a team of 14 advisors, photographers and sales progressors working from two offices. We've grown, but the idea hasn't changed: honest advice, one point of contact, and no surprises in the small print.

Our journey

From one desk to two offices

  • 2009

    The first office

    Clara and Tom open a one-room office above a bakery on Harbour Lane.

  • 2012

    Lettings launches

    Amara Nwosu joins and brings on our first 20 landlords.

  • 2016

    A second home in Oakhollow

    Leo Marchetti opens our office on Oakhollow's Market Square.

  • 2021

    1,000 homes sold

    We celebrate our 1,000th sale and start the 1% Food Bank pledge.
